Space and Time
Born and raised in Ukraine in a Ukrainian-Polish family during the Soviet era.
Served in the Soviet Army—stationed in Siberia and briefly in Armenia (autumn–winter 1988).
Since fall 2013, I have lived and worked in Poland. My relocation was compelled by political persecution stemming from my active civic engagement.
I hold citizenship in both Ukraine and Poland.
Economics and Law
In 2010, I earned a Specialist degree in Finance from the private Institute of Business Administration in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine.
During my studies and after defending my diploma, I advised entrepreneurs on tax-optimization strategies, gaining firsthand experience in non-confrontational struggle with Ukrainian government agencies and criminal structures.
In 2011, I founded the NGO Sprava Narodu, providing legal assistance to pensioners in local courts and administrative agencies. I also took part in protest actions alongside local business owners.
Philosophy
My enduring passion for philosophy and quest to address the roots of violence and the foundations of human existence led to my first publications in 2009–2010 on the fundamental causes of violence and a critique of contemporary ontology. Viewed now, these early works may appear unpolished or even naïve, yet they reflect an intuitive grasp of profound philosophical questions.
In summer 2012, I established the philosophical club Kultura Myshleniya (“Culture of Thought”), hosting lectures and seminars on topics such as the philosophy of money, music, and society. The club was disbanded following my emigration.
In 2024, I completed my Master’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Warsaw. I currently consult and teach on applying philosophical insights to everyday life and crisis situations.
I am now in the process of founding a new philosophical club in Warsaw, Poland.
Programming
2011: Automated the legal-counsel workstation at Sprava Narodu using MS Access. This innovation drove down the cost of filing lawsuits and related documents in the Kryvyi Rih legal-services market from 200 UAH to 45 UAH and boosted throughput to 800 claims per month across two workstations.
2014–2016: Software Developer at BAKK Sp. z o.o., working with MS Access and MS SQL Server on a variety of projects within a large, high-performing team.
2019: Developer at SAHATY & SK-BUD, migrating an MS Access application to PHP, MySQL, and Laravel. A technically challenging project that was later discontinued.
2023–2025: Full-Stack Developer at Shareco Sp. z o.o., working with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and CSS on a major growth-stage initiative. Although the project and team were exceptional, I experienced burnout while completing my Master’s thesis in Philosophy.
I am currently a mid-level full-stack developer (PHP · MySQL · JavaScript · CSS) and the author of this website.
